Mobile Black Spot Programme Discussion Paper

The government is seeking comments from interested parties in response to the Discussion Paper for the Mobile Black Spot Programme. Submissions received will help inform the development of the programme, including the preferred programme design and delivery model.

What will be the outcome of this consultation?

Your comments in response to the Discussion Paper will assist us to develop the Guidelines for the Mobile Black Spot Programme. The Guidelines will ensure the programme is delivered as effectively and efficiently as possible, and achieve maximum value for money.

The Issue

The Mobile Black Spot Programme will improve mobile phone coverage and competition in regional and remote Australia, including along major transport routes, in small communities and in locations prone to experiencing natural disasters.
