The Maritime Single Window is a digital reporting platform which will simplify the exchange of mandatory information between industry and government agencies, while supporting the long-term digitalisation of the shipping industry and allowing Australia to meet its emission targets. The Australian Government is currently scoping how a Maritime Single Window would apply to the Australian maritime industry.
The portal will be a one stop shop for information on arrivals, stays and departures at Australian ports. Digitising and sharing this information in near real time will enhance the efficiency of ports and link into an international data sharing network to improve visibility of maritime activities
To achieve this goal, we are engaging with the Simplified Trade System Implementation Taskforce team to ensure all future trade ICT systems are interoperable and complementary to the Maritime Single Window.
Further information will be added to this page over time as the portal is developed.
