What changed in ROVER Release 9.1?

In this release, we deployed several minor enhancements to improve the ROVER user experience and launched a new feature – the ability to submit vehicles to the RAV from within the portal. Following is a list of some of the changes that were made:

  • RAV entry submissions: From the RAV page, you can submit vehicles to the RAV by uploading a file (CSV or XML) or by completing a form.
  • Navigation: You can navigate to the published approvals page more easily.
  • Decision notices: You can download a decision notice from the manage applications page.
  • Document lists: The number of documents displayed in lists on applications increased from 4 to 10.
  • Searching: You can find information more easily with new search functionality added to the authority to act page of the portal.
  • Australian Design Rules (ADRs): We made it easier to find ADRs listed in the dropdown menu–now displayed in numeric order.
  • RVD images: You can name an image set.
  • RVD remarks: You can see more than 4 lines of text in the comments box on the RVD page.
  • Applications for older vehicles: In addition to providing photos of the front, rear and side of the vehicle, you will be asked to provide photos of the engine bay and interior of the vehicle.
  • Applications for trailers: When you apply via the concessional pathway, the question on whether the trailer is fitted with an MVSA plate has been made easier to understand.
