ROVER will be unavailable 5 pm to 10.30 pm AEDT on Wednesday 27 November 2024 while we deploy changes to the portal.
You can submit vehicles to the RAV during this time, however, they will not be processed until after ROVER goes live.
Lists of approvals and the RAV Public Search site will remain available during the outage period.

ROVER
ROVER is the department's online portal for applications and approvals under the Road Vehicle Standards (RVS) legislation.
Before an application can be submitted, an applicant or their representative must first create a user account in ROVER.

Register of Approved Vehicles
The Register of Approved Vehicles (RAV) is an online publicly searchable database of vehicles that have met the requirements of the Road Vehicle Standards Act 2018 (RVSA) and have been approved for provision to the Australian market.
Before a road vehicle can be entered on the RAV, you need to submit an application and be granted approval through ROVER.
RVCS and RAWS Search
The RVCS and RAWS Search site contains historic information on vehicle approvals and component registrations issued under the Motor Vehicle Standards Act 1989.
