The Regional Connectivity Ministers' Roundtable (RCMR) was established to ensure greater collaboration between the Commonwealth and state and territory governments on regional connectivity issues and to improve communications outcomes for regional and rural communities, including First Nations communities.
Chaired by the Minister for Communications, the RCMR is attended by state and territory ministers with portfolio responsibility for regional communications and connectivity. The RCMR is held biannually to progress priorities of national significance, including telecommunications resilience, data sharing and investment.
