Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games

The Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games (the Games) will provide extraordinary opportunities for communities across Brisbane, Queensland, Australia and Oceania.

The Games will make Queensland even more inclusive, sustainable, connected, liveable and prosperous.

That's why the Australian Government is investing up to $3.435 billion in Games venue infrastructure projects across the state. All venue projects will support the long term needs of growing communities and be ready in time for the Games.

An Intergovernmental Agreement between the Australian and Queensland governments outlines the funding and governance arrangements for venue projects.

Venue projects are subject to validation work to ensure value for money, and are delivered by the Games Independent Infrastructure and Coordination Authority (GIICA).
