The Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development, Communications and the Arts (the Department) is collecting personal information for the purposes of Market Research and On-Road Trials in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988.
The Department will use your personal information in order to respond to your questions or feedback regarding the National Heavy Vehicle Charging Pilot, this information will be stored securely.
The Department will disclose information to third-party telematics providers for the purpose of generating ‘mock’ invoices, demonstrating how a new system of heavy vehicle charging would compare against the current PAYGO system. The department will also disclose information to Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu who have been engaged to complete an evaluation of the large scale on road trials.
