Norfolk in spotlight with Tourism Australia visit

I am very pleased that Norfolk Island will be welcoming senior executives from Tourism Australia for a visit from 5-10 March 2021, as part of our ongoing work to grow our tourism offering and market.

Organised by The Unique Tourism Collection on behalf of the Office of the Administrator, the trip will support Norfolk Island's future tourism promotion and development.

The group will include senior representatives from Tourism Australia along with an external journalist and content creator.

Through the visit, they will gain a deeper understanding of Norfolk Island as a destination and its rich sources of imagery and content.

They will also meet with key local industry representatives and host a workshop on current Tourism Australia activities and how best to work with them to support local tourism into the future.

The Australian Government is committed to continuing to support the local tourism sector and Norfolk Island businesses and the economy to recover and rebuild from the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Tourism Australia Workshop for local industry stakeholders will be at Paradise Resort from 4.30pm–6.30pm on Monday, 8 March 2021.

For more information or to join the Tourism workshop on 8 March, email Jonica@uniquetourism.com or call Jonica on Norfolk Island on #57091 from 5–10 March.
