Please be advised that site work for the upgrade of Cascade Pier is scheduled to commence shortly.
The Pier will be closed to general public access for the duration of the work. The expected completion and re-opening date is late 2017.

Cascade Pier will be closed to general public access from 18 July 2016
Exceptions:
Between 18 July and 3 August: Negotiated use of the Pier for commercial stakeholders (i.e. commercial fisherman and lighterage) may be permitted.
From 4 August: It is proposed the Pier will be made available for use by commercial fisherman on up to two days per week. On pre-agreed days of use, there will be two scheduled one-hour windows where Pier access is permitted (one window for vessel launching, the other for vessel retrieval).
The pier will remain available for scheduled lighterage operation during the construction period.
