I welcome news of the Royal Australian Navy's Laser Airborne Depth Sounder (LADS) Flight deployment to Norfolk Island.
The LADS hydrographic survey unit will survey the vicinity of Norfolk, Nepean and Phillip Islands to improve nautical charting in the area for safe navigation of coastal and commercial shipping.
