Topic: Proposed updated fees for electricity in the Jervis Bay Territory—Exposure Draft Jervis Bay Territory Administration (Electricity Supply Fees) Determination 2020
The Jervis Bay Territory Administration (JBTA) facilitates provision of electricity supply in the Jervis Bay Territory (JBT). A review of electricity supply fees is undertaken annually.
Following the latest review, JBTA proposes to update the electricity fees in the JBT, effective from 1 April 2020.
A number of factors are considered in proposing the updated 2020 electricity fees, including retail pricing of electricity in the nearby Shoalhaven region and the cost of providing electricity to the JBT.
The proposed fees are set out in the Exposure Draft, Jervis Bay Territory Administration (Electricity Supply Fees) Determination 2020 , which is available:
- on the department's website at PDF: 133 KB;
- in hardcopy, on request from the JBTA office (telephone 02 4442 2200);
- by email from jbt@infrastructure.gov.au.
Tables comparing the current electricity supply fees to the proposed fees can be found overleaf.
If you would like to comment on the Exposure Draft Determination, please email your written submission to jbt@infrastructure.gov.au.
Submissions will be accepted up until close of business on Thursday, 19 March 2020.
