The Department has a service delivery arrangement with the ACT Road Transport Authority to provide for services to the Jervis Bay Territory, including driver training and licensing. Through its Jervis Bay Territory Administration (JBTA) Office, the Department provides a shopfront for customer service and the co-ordination of these services.
The JBTA Office has scheduled Road Ready and Road Ready Plus courses in October 2018, and also the Practical Driving Test for eligible learner drivers wishing to obtain their provisional driver licence (P plates).

Road Ready Plus Course An optional advanced road knowledge course for current Provisional Licence holders. After successfully completing the Road Ready Plus Course a Provisional Licence holder's demerit allowance increases from 4 to 8 points and the holder is no longer required to display ‘P’ plates. |
