2016/02—Centenary Registration Plates

The Department’s service delivery arrangements with the ACT Road Transport Authority provide for motor vehicle registration, driver training and licensing services to the Jervis Bay Territory.

Through its Jervis Bay Territory Administration (JBTA) Office, the Department provides a shopfront for customer service and the co-ordination of these services.

To commemorate the Centenary year, the JBTA have obtain a limited number of YJJ series vehicle registration number plates with the caption Jervis Bay Territory 1915–2015. These plates are now available for issue.

  • For all new registration these plates will be issued as standard plates at no additional charge.
  • For those that wish to change their registration plates to take advantage of this series can do so, but will be required to pay an ACT Government administration fee of $38.80 for the processing of the change in registration.

The Centenary Plate will be issues on a first come, first served basis.
