2015/13—Update on the Options for Future Service Delivery

2015/13—Update on the Options for Future Service Delivery DOCX: 744 KB

Following the review of government services to Jervis Bay Territory (JBT), the Australian, NSW and ACT Governments have agreed that current arrangements should continue in the short term.

The NSW Government has also agreed to consider a transfer of state and local government-type services over the longer term where this would benefit the JBT community.

Australian Government, ACT and NSW officials are continuing discussions to identify opportunities for a transfer of services, which they will also discuss with the JBT community.

The Department thanks the Jervis Bay Territory community members for their participation in the review to date and hope that the ongoing discussions will develop proposals that can benefit the community.
