2015/06—Motorcycle Licence Training—September 2015

The Department's service delivery arrangements with the ACT Road Transport Authority provide for motorcycle rider training and licensing services to the Jervis Bay Territory. Through its Jervis Bay Territory Administration (JBTA) Office, the Department provides a shopfront for customer service and the co-ordination of these services.

The JBTA Office has scheduled Learner and Provisional Motorcycle Licence training in September 2015.

To be eligible for the Learner Motorcycle Licence training you must be at least 16 years 9 months old and either:

  • Hold a current Driver Licence; or
  • Have successfully completed the Road Ready Learner Licence Course.

To be eligible for the Provisional Motorcycle Licence training you must

  • Be at least 17 years old; and

Have held your Learner Motorcycle Licence for at least 3 months

When:

8:30 am to 4:30 pm on Tuesday 22 September 2015 (Provisional)

8:30 am to 4:30 pm on Wednesday 23 September 2015 (Learner)

Where:

Vincentia High School

Cost:

Learner $252 per person (includes motorcycle and gear hire)

Provisional $203 per person (motorcycle can be hired for $150)

Bookings accompanied by the full course fee will be accepted on a ‘first come, first served" basis.
