As Chair of the Indian Ocean Territories (IOT) Regional Development Organisation (RDO), I am pleased to announce the RDO is calling for expressions of interest from local not-for-profit (NFP) groups seeking funding for consulting support to assist in their preparation of applications to round five of the Australian Government's Building Better Regions Fund (BBRF).
In line with the RDO's goal to promote the sustainable development of the IOT, we are supporting eligible local NFP organisations in lodging competitive BBRF funding applications.
The $1.04 billion BBRF supports the Australian Government's commitment to drive economic growth and build stronger regional communities into the future.
Round five of the BBRF has two project streams. The Infrastructure Projects Stream supports investment-ready projects that provide economic and social benefits to regional and remote areas. The Community Investments Stream will fund new or expanded local events, strategic regional plans, or leadership and capability strengthening activities that provide economic and social benefits to regional and remote areas.
Applications for BBRF funding are open now and close 5 March 2021. To apply for RDO funding for consulting support to assist your NFP organisation to prepare a BBRF application:
