Looking for Indian Ocean Territories Regional Development Organisation members

Expressions of interest are sought to fill multiple community representative member positions for Christmas Island and the Cocos (Keeling Islands) on the Indian Ocean Territories Regional Development Organisation (RDO).

These are voluntary positions for two-year terms commencing in mid-2019. The RDO supports the economic development of the Indian Ocean Territories.

I am seeking diverse membership to provide broad based representation of the Christmas and Cocos communities. The criteria that will be used to select members will include:

• Diversity of skills and experience
• Gender balance
• Geographic coverage
• Cultural diversity

To ensure gender balance on the RDO, women are strongly encouraged to apply.
