Administrator travelling to Canberra and Cocos

Today I will be travelling to Canberra with Mr Madi Signa, our Regional Investment Officer, to represent the Indian Ocean Territories Regional Development Organisation (RDO) at the Northern Regional Development Australia Alliance workshop.

While in Canberra, Madi and I will also be meeting with the Territories Minister the Hon. Sussan Ley MP.

Following our visit to Canberra we will be travelling to the Cocos (Keeling) Islands for the 35th Anniversary of Act of Self Determination Day (ASDD) celebrations.

I am delighted that a contingent from Christmas Island will be traveling to Cocos to participate in the inter-islands games and the other ASDD festivities.

Whilst on Cocos I will be chairing meetings of both the Emergency Management Committee and the RDO and hosting a number of stakeholder meetings and functions.
