Notice of Water Craft Removal from the Cove

The Indian Oceans Territories Administration (IOTA) would like to advise that the AFP have now placed police tape on all water craft that require removal from Flying Fish Cove.

These water craft need to be removed prior to Monday 3 September after which the Shire and AFP will commence relocating them to the police station or rubbish tip depending on their condition. Once the water craft are removed IOTA will assess the potential to design and install storage racks in a suitable location within the Cove.

All water craft stored at the Police Station must be claimed by the 3 November 2018. Remaining unclaimed craft will then be put up for public tender.

Please note that once the new racks have been established, use will be through a registration system and a small annual fee.
