Looking for a Regional Investment Officer for the Indian Ocean Territories

I’m very pleased to announce that the Indian Ocean Territories Regional Development Organisation today advertised the position of Regional Investment Officer.

Special thanks to the Hon Dr John McVeigh MP, Minister for Regional Development, Territories and Local Government, for funding the new Regional Investment Officer at a time when the Indian Ocean Territories are at an economic crossroads.

The Regional Investment Officer will promote investment and economic development in the Indian Ocean Territories and support the formulation and implementation of the new Strategic Plans for Christmas Island and the Cocos (Keeling) Islands which are also being funded by the Australian Government.

The Regional Investment Officer will be located in my office and report directly to me as Chair of the Regional Development Organisation.

We are looking for an exceptional candidate with a successful track record in regional economic development and investment promotion.
