The ANZAC Day Dawn Service is scheduled to be held at the War Memorial at Tai Jin House on Wednesday, 25 April.

If there is heavy rain later today or overnight, the Dawn Service may need to be re–located to the front of the Police Station on Gaze Road.

Should this prove to be the case, AFP will direct cars at the roundabout and the western end of Flying Fish Cove to the alternative location.

Please note that there will be no private vehicle access to Tai Jin House. Cars should be parked in the Flying Fish Cove precinct and attendees are asked to walk to the War Memorial. However, courtesy transport for the mobility impaired and others requiring assistance is available from the car park at the western end of Flying Fish Cove.

Christmas Island residents are asked to arrive for the Dawn Service by 5.40 a.m. After the service, there will be a halal and non-halal sausage sizzle breakfast cooked by SERCO and ABF volunteers.

Thanks for your understanding and look forward to seeing you all at the Dawn Service.
