2021 Hartsuyker Review
On 2 June 2021 the then Minister for Regional Communications, Regional Health and Local Government, the Hon Mark Coulton MP, announced the Regional Telecommunications Independent Review Committee to undertake the 2021 Regional Telecommunications Review (the Review).
The five members appointed to the Committee are the Hon Luke Hartsuyker (Chair), Ms Kristy Sparrow, Ms Sue Middleton, Professor Hugh Bradlow and Mr Michael Cosgrave.
The Committee provided its report, 2021 Regional Telecommunications Review: A step change in demand to the Minister for Regionalisation, Regional Communications and Regional Education, Senator the Hon Bridget McKenzie on 13 December 2021 and it was tabled in Parliament on 14 February 2022. The Government will provide its formal response to the Review shortly.
The Australian Government formally responded to the review on 30 March 2022.

2018 Edwards Review
The 2018 Regional Telecommunications Review has been completed. The Committee appointed to undertake the review was comprised of Mr Sean Edwards (Chair), Ms Wendy Duncan, Ms Johanna Plante, Ms Robbie Sefton, Ms Kylie Stretton and Mr Paul Weller.
The Committee delivered its report, 2018 Regional Telecommunications Review: Getting it right out there, to Government on 30 September 2018 and it was tabled in Parliament on 4 December 2018.
The 2018 Regional Telecommunications Review report examines how people use telecommunications services in regional, rural and remote parts of Australia and how regional communities can maximise the economic opportunities of digital technologies and services.
The Minister for Regional Services issued a Ministerial Statement at the time of tabling the report:
The Government tabled its response to the 2018 Regional Telecommunications Review on 20 March 2019.

2015 Shiff Review
The 2015 Regional Telecommunications Independent Review Committee was chaired by Ms Deena Shiff. The Committee’s report was tabled in Parliament on 22 October 2015.

2012 Sinclair Review
The 2011–12 Committee's report, 'Regional Communications: Empowering digital communities', was tabled in Parliament on 23 May 2012. The Committee was chaired by Ms Rosemary Sinclair.

2008 Glasson Review
The 2008 Regional Telecommunications Independent Review Committee was chaired by Dr Bill Glasson AO. The Committee’s report was tabled in Parliament on 15 October 2008.
