2205/06 JBT drinking water - PFAS testing results

Testing for May 2022 shows that Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS) levels in JBT drinking water remain many times lower than levels recommended by the Australian Drinking Water Guidelines.

The Guidelines are set by the National Health and Medical Research Council. They are regularly updated to make sure they are based on the latest scientific evidence.

COVID-19 response – Extension to State of Emergency in Jervis Bay Territory

The declared State of Emergency for the Jervis Bay Territory (JBT) has been extended for a 30-day period from 10 May 2022, as part of the ongoing response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

By doing this, the JBT community will continue to be protected and supported during this time.
