The period for consultation on the ‘Supporting Australian Stories on our Screens’ options paper has been extended.
Given the current circumstances around COVID-19, the consultation process on the ‘Supporting Australian Stories on our Screens’ options paper has been extended by 3 weeks.
Submissions will now be due by 5pm (AEST) on Friday 3 July 2020.
This options paper, co-authored by the ACMA and Screen Australia, looks at how best to support Australian stories on our screens in a modern, multi-platform environment.
It is part of the Government’s staged process to reform media regulation towards to a platform-neutral regulatory framework covering both online and offline delivery of media content to Australian consumers.
