CR 113: Trends in Road Crash Fatality Rates, Australia 1970–1990 (1993)

Summary

This report describes and analyses temporal changes in fatalities per population between 1970 and 1990 in Australia. Annual time trends in fatality rates are examined by road user type (all fatalities, drivers, passengers, pedestrians, motor cyclists and bicyclists), State/Territory, gender, age, time of week and month. Report CR 115 comprises a summary of this report and of CR 114, which compares the trends in Australia and other countries.
