The Government provided funding under its Better Connectivity Plan for Regional and Rural Australia to improve multi-carrier mobile coverage on highways and major roads in regional and remote Australia.
The National RRAMP will provide grant funding for projects which deliver improved coverage, while also improving safety on our roads, strengthening economic growth, improving social connectivity, and supporting regional development. The National RRAMP complements RRAMP Pilot Programs being delivered by state and territory governments.
We are seeking stakeholder views on the proposed design features of the National RRAMP, which will inform the final design of the program and development of the Program Guidelines.
