In this video we show you how to reset your password in ROVER. Follow these instructions if you have forgotten your password or if you haven’t changed your password in the past 365 days.

Narrator: Hi, I’m going to show you how to reset your ROVER password. Start by typing rover.infrastructure.gov.au into your web browser to reach the ROVER portal webpage. The recommended browsers include Chrome, Microsoft Edge and Firefox.

Now click the ‘Sign in’ button and click the ‘Forgot your password’ link.

Enter your email address and click the ‘Send verification code’ button. This will trigger an email to be sent to you containing a 6- digit code. The verification code will expire after 10 minutes. However, you can click the ‘Send new code’ button to get another.

If the verification code is slow to arrive check your junk or spam folder.

Once you have the email, go back to the ROVER screen and type or copy the verification code into the ‘Verification Code’ field and click the ‘Verify code’ button.

If you wish to change the password for another email address, click ‘Change email’ and follow the prompts.

In this example, I’ll click ‘Continue’ to reset the password for the email address I entered originally.

On this screen it shows you the last 4 digits of the mobile number associated with your account.

Click ‘Send Code’ and you’ll be sent an SMS to that phone number with a new verification code. Now enter the code into this field. If you didn’t get an SMS, you can click the ‘send new code’ link and be sent another one.

You can now enter a new password. It should be between 10 and 30 characters long.

Then click ‘Continue’.

Your password has now been reset and you are signed in to ROVER. So that’s how you reset your ROVER password.
