ROVER - How to add extent of compliance information for a type approval from Department of Infrastructure on Vimeo.

[Image changes to show the ROVER Road Vehicle Regulator webpage 'Before you begin' and the image shows the cursor pointing to the menu on the left of the webpage]

Narrator: Today, I'm going to walk you through entering the extent of compliance information for a vehicle type approval in ROVER. You'll need to have entered your 'Applicant' and 'Vehicle type details' before you are able to enter this information.

[Image shows the cursor selecting 'Extent of compliance' from the menu on the left, and the image shows the 'Extent of compliance' section appearing on the centre of the screen]

Select 'Extent of compliance' from the left hand menu.

[Image shows the section scrolling through on the centre of the screen]

Because in this example the vehicle is using an international whole of vehicle type approval to its full extent, ROVER has already populated some values.

[Image shows the cursor selecting 'Edit extent of compliance']

Click the 'Edit extent of compliance' button.

[Image shows the 'Extent of compliance' section appearing on the centre of the screen, and then the image shows the cursor selecting the arrow in the bottom right]

For each ADR that is applicable for your passenger vehicle, you can select either the extent of the compliance, or that the ADR is not applicable.

[Image shows the 'Applicable ADR' section appearing on the centre screen, and the image shows the section scrolling through and the cursor making 'Full compliance selections']

You can only select 'Full compliance' where each of your variants will be fully compliant for that ADR.

[Image shows the cursor continuing to scroll and then adding information under the 'Please provide information about why this ADR is not applicable']

In this example, the model does not have a diesel variant, so I will not be demonstrating compliance against ADR 30/01.

[Image shows the cursor continuing to scroll down and then selecting the arrow button at the bottom right of the screen]

Under RVSA, you can add additional applicable ADRs that you will be demonstrating compliance for.

[Image shows the 'Additional applicable ADRs' section appearing and then the cursor selecting 'Yes' to the 'Would you like to add any additional ADRs?' question]

You can do this when you click the 'arrow' button and proceed to the next page.

[Image shows the cursor adding additional information below the question]

To demonstrate this, I will add ADR 61/03 (a new standard under the RVS legislation) in this way - through the additional applicable ADR option.

[Image shows the cursor selecting 'Save and continue']

However, this standard ADR 61/03 is presented alongside the others so you won't need to add it manually here.

[Image shows the screen returning to the 'Before you begin' section on the centre screen]

Now you'll be able to return to the main menu to enter compliance information for each of those ADRs.

[Image shows the cursor selecting 'Extent of compliance' from the menu on the left, and then the image scrolls through the 'Extent of compliance' on the centre screen]

If you return to the main menu and click the 'Extent of compliance' button again, you can see that the extent of compliance has been updated. And that's how you enter the extent of compliance information in ROVER for a type approval.
