New requirements for light (low ATM) trailers video

Date published:

Watch this video to learn about the new laws impacting the importation and manufacture of low ATM trailers – trailers with an aggregate trailer mass of 4.5 tonnes or less – and the required approvals.

If you manufacture or import low ATM trailers, you’ll need to apply for an approval before importing or providing them to the Australian market.

Under the Road Vehicle Standards (RVS) laws, each road vehicle, including trailers, will have their vehicle and compliance information listed on the Register of Approved Vehicles (RAV) once approved.
