To inform policy development and engage stakeholders in discussions around the future of Australia’s aviation sector, the Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development, Communications and the Arts commissioned work on the key drivers of change in the aviation sector to 2050. This work looked at drivers of change and future industry scenarios over the short- (to 2030), medium- (2030–2040) and long-term (2040–2050).
