The Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development, Communications and the Arts (the department) and Shoalhaven City Council are progressing important upgrades to the water supply system for the Jervis Bay Territory (JBT).
This will provide a more sustainable water source for the community, connected to the already established Shoalhaven City Council water supply.
An information session for the JBT water pipeline project will take place at the Jervis Bay School on 1 February 2023, from 5-7 PM.
At the information session, the local community will be provided with updates on the project and the next steps in progressing to the construction phase.
Stakeholders from Shoalhaven City Council and Beca Hunter H20, along with the department, will be at the information session to provide updates and respond to questions from the community.
A courtesy bus will be available for members of the community to travel from Wreck Bay Village to the School and back:
- Departure from Wreck Bay Village Child Care Centre/Clinic: 4:45 PM
- Departure from Jervis Bay School: 7:15 PM
If you have any questions about the upcoming session, please contact JBT Administration on (02) 444 222 00, 50 Village Rd, Jervis Bay, JBT@infrastructure.gov.au.
A copy of the Revised Review of Environmental Factors for the upgrades is also currently on display and available at the JBT Office for public comment. There is an extension to this exhibition period and the new closing date is now 1 February 2023.
