Consultation on new Telstra reporting requirements on the delivery of regional and remote voice services

Have your say on proposed rules to improve Telstra’s reporting on the delivery of voice services in regional and remote areas

The Government has published proposed carrier licence conditions for Telstra designed to improve its reporting on the delivery of voice services in regional and remote areas.

Under the proposed new rules Telstra would need to publicly report on its performance against key indicators, including:

  • service availability
  • connection timeframes
  • faults and outages
  • repair timeframes
  • appointment timeframes
  • complaints
  • customer contact handling.

If you’re interested in commenting, you can review the proposed rules and make a submission by 5pm Monday 8 November 2021 via our Have Your Say page.
