Commencement of Schedules 2 & 3 to the Telstra Corporation and Other Legislation Amendment Act 2021

The Minister for Communications, the Hon Michelle Rowland MP, has approved the publication of the following notice:

Notice to Announce—commencement of Schedules 2 & 3 to the Telstra Corporation and Other Legislation Amendment Act 2021.

Schedules 2 and 3 to the Telstra Corporation and Other Legislation Amendment Act 2021 (the Act) commenced on 1 January 2023.

This commencement date reflects when some of the property of Telstra Corporation Limited (ACN 051 775 556) was transferred to and vested in Telstra Limited (ACN 086 174 781) by virtue of a court order (the property investiture). The property investiture took place at 12:01am on 1 January 2023.
