Community Matters—Consultation on traffic laws

The Australian Government provides regular updates to the community on the development and progress of programs and services for Norfolk Island.

Work is underway to improve the operation of traffic laws in Norfolk Island to provide a safer environment for drivers, passengers and bystanders.

The community is invited to provide comment on a consultation paper, which explains the proposed changes and areas for further review. The paper is available at www.infrastructure.gov.au/ni-legislation or in hard copy at the Office of the Administrator.

Please send your written comments by Friday 21 June 2019 to NI_Legislation@infrastructure.gov.au or to GPO Box 594, Canberra ACT 2601. The Department intends to publish all submissions to the consultation paper, unless a request is made for a submission to be kept confidential or a submission contains other information that is not suitable to publish.
