2017/05—Update on Service Delivery Arrangements to the Jervis Bay Territory
DOCX: 475 KB

The Australian, ACT and NSW governments have been working together on options for future service delivery arrangements to the Jervis Bay Territory (JBT), following the 2014 review of JBT service delivery.

The NSW Government has decided not to continue work on options for future service delivery arrangements. This decision has no impact on the current delivery of government services to the JBT community. JBT residents will continue to receive the same level of government services currently provided.

The Australian and ACT governments will continue to work collaboratively to ensure government services meet the needs of the JBT community.

The JBT community will be actively engaged in future discussions on potential changes to government services. Any future changes to current service delivery arrangements will only be made on the basis that there is a demonstrated benefit to the JBT community.

For further information, please contact the JBTA Office on telephone 02 4442 1217.
