A vehicle safety or non-compliance report notifies the department of potential vehicle safety issues or alleged non-compliance with the Road Vehicle Standards (RVS) legislation. It covers four categories—a road vehicle, a road vehicle component, a company or person, and a matter unrelated to the other three categories.
