2023/07 JBT drinking water - PFAS testing results

Testing for April 2023 shows that Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS) levels in JBT drinking water remain many times lower than levels recommended by the Australian Drinking Water Guidelines.

The Guidelines are set by the National Health and Medical Research Council. They are regularly updated to make sure they are based on the latest scientific evidence.

Portfolio Budget Statements 2023–24

The purpose of the 2023–24 Portfolio Budget Statements (PBS) is to inform Senators and Members of Parliament of the proposed allocation of resources to Government outcomes by agencies within the portfolio. Agencies receive resources from the annual appropriations bills, special appropriations, standing appropriations (including special accounts), and revenue from other sources.

Grant guidelines now available for Round 1 of the Growing Regions Program

Eligible applicants can now review the grant guidelines for Round 1 of the Australian Government’s new $600 million Growing Regions Program, with applications to open shortly.

Thriving Suburbs Program

The Australian Government has committed funding over three years, from 2024–25 to  2026–27, for the Thriving Suburbs Program to deliver investment in community infrastructure projects.

Urban Precincts and Partnerships Program

The Australian Government’s $150 million urban Precincts and Partnerships Program (uPPP) is now open for applications.

The uPPP seeks to support transformative investment in urban precincts based on the principles of unifying urban places, growing economies and serving communities.

The program focuses on a partnership approach, bringing together governments, businesses and communities to deliver multi-purpose urban precincts that are place-based, tailored to local needs and positioned around a shared vision, need or theme.
