The purpose of this Guidance Note is to outline and briefly explain the key parts of the Communications Legislation Amendment (Combatting Misinformation and Disinformation) Bill 2023 (the Bill).
This is also an opportunity for stakeholders, experts and the community to provide feedback on the draft Bill, which the Australian Government will seek to finalise and introduce in the Parliament in the second half of 2023.
