Heavy vehicle rest area to be built in Western Sydney

A new heavy vehicle rest area will be built at Eastern Creek, so truck drivers can take a break and stay safe.

Jointly funded by the Australian and NSW governments, the new rest area will be the first dedicated truck stop in Western Sydney.

Located 5 minutes’ drive from the M7 Motorway and 10 minutes from the M4, this rest area will be of particular benefit to drivers hauling freight between Victoria and Queensland.

It will provide toilets and showers, clean drinking water, ample parking space and shaded areas.
