I was pleased to sign a lease agreement today for the Australian Government Shopfront on Norfolk Island, which will be located at 67A Taylors Road near the roundabout.
Over coming days I look forward to seeing signs going up and the commencement of construction using local tradespeople as the Australian Government continues to deliver on its commitment to Norfolk Island.
The signing of this lease follows the Government’s announcement detailing the Terms of Reference and formally calling for nominations for the five-person Norfolk Island Interim Advisory Council, to represent the local community and contribute to reform for Norfolk Island.
