Join us to celebrate Australia Day at the Christmas Island Cricket Club

I am very pleased to join with the Christmas Island Cricket & Sporting Club to invite the community to celebrate Australia Day at the Cricket Club, Vagabond Road, on Saturday, 26 January.

Lunch (all Halal) will be available from 12.00 p.m. to 2.00 p.m. sponsored by the Office of the Administrator.

The Administrator’s Awards will be announced at 1.00 p.m. followed by the Australia Day Cricket Match from 2.00 p.m. The cricket match will honour the memory of former member Duane Blythman, whose bat will be presented to the winning team after the match.

Alcoholic and soft drinks will be on sale all day at the bar. Some food will also be available during the match.
