Forms and fees

Part X of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (the Act) provides that the parties to a conference agreement in respect of outwards or inwards liner cargo shipping may apply to the Registrar of Liner Shipping for its registration upon which certain conditional exemptions from sections 45 and 47 of the Act are granted.

Registrar of Liner Shipping – Privacy Statement

The Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development, Communications and the Arts (the Department) is collecting personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Privacy Act), and as authorised under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (the Act), for the purpose of registering liner shipping agreements under the scheme. Personal information collected may be:

  • disclosed when required or authorised by law
  • disclosed when required, to other Australian Government agencies.

If you do not provide the information requested, we may not be able to process your application.

Pursuant to s10.10 of the Act, certain information collected will be retained on a register and be open to public inspection. Confidentiality can be sought pursuant to s10.34 of the Act. Applications for confidentiality can be made via submission of Form 3.
