Road Deaths Australia is a monthly bulletin presenting the latest fatal road crash data as well as recent historical comparisons. It is produced using monthly data supplied by the eight states and territories.
This month's key figures
- During the month of October 2008, 132 deaths occurred as a result of road crashes.
- In the ten months to the end of October 2008, 1220 road crash deaths occurred. This was a 7.2 per cent decrease compared with the same period in 2007.
