Road Deaths Australia is a monthly bulletin presenting the latest fatal road crash data as well as recent historical comparisons. It is produced using monthly data supplied by the eight states and territories.

This Month's Key figures are as follows:

• There was a total of 128 road deaths in June 2009.
  • this is a 0.8 per cent increase over the June 2008 figure.
• There have been 793 road deaths in 2009 to the end of June.
  • this is a 13.4 per cent increase over the same 6 month period in 2008.
