APG23-6 is the APT Preparatory Group for the World Radiocommunication Conference WRC-23.
Nearly 500 delegates from the Asia-Pacific will be preparing regional positions on issues that will be on the agenda for the World Radiocommunication Conference to be held later this year in Dubai. Over 30 items are on the agenda including:
- international mobile telecommunications
- radiocommunications for sub-orbital vehicles
- a new aeronautical mobile satellite service
- modernisation of the Global Maritime Distress and Safety System and the implementation of e-navigation.
