Overview of Additional Appropriations

The Australian Transport Safety Bureau (ATSB) is seeking additional appropriations of $29.577 million through Appropriation Bill (No. 5) 2014–15. The additional appropriation is for government assistance in relation to the search for Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370, which will be offset by financial contributions from other countries.

The Portfolio Supplementary Additional Estimates Statements are focused on explaining the supplementary additional estimates appropriations. Information on 2014–15 Budget resourcing, including a full set of entity budgeted financial statements, can be found in the 2015–16 Portfolio Budget Statements accompanying the 2015–16 annual appropriation bills.
