Notes:
(a) The figures for expense measures reflect the impact on fiscal balance and may differ from the actual resources to be received by the Department due to the treatment of accrual adjustments, such as depreciation.
(b) Provision for ongoing funding of $3.4m a year has already been included in the forward estimates.
(c) Funding of $2m in 2006-07, $3m in 2007-08 and $20m in 2008-09 will be met by the reallocation of AusLink funds.
(d) The costs of this measure are yet to be agreed and will be met from within existing resources.
(e) Funding of $2.5m in 2006-07 will be met by the reallocation of Natural Disaster Relief and Recovery Arrangements (NDRRA) funds.
(f) Funding of $0.1m in 2006-07 for the donation to the Australian Red Cross Bushfire Appeal will be met by the reallocation of NDRRA funds. Funding of $0.7m for community recovery activities will be met from within existing resources for the NDRRA programme.
